During the winter period grass tennis facilities will be reduced from four courts to three.

Main club committee have decided to ignore the wishes of tennis members who rejected this proposal at the Tennis EGM.

We are told that their decision follow discussions they had with the LTA

Reasons given were as follows:

1. Current configuration does not comply with specifications in the rules of Tennis.

2. Limited run-off areas are a safety hazard

3. Indicating to the LTA that we are complying with tennis regulations will assist future applications for grant aid.
